Senior Night and Pep Band

Dear Band Family,

Just a reminder that ALL band students (marching and concert only) will be performing in the stands this Friday, November 1st at the last scheduled regular season home game for our football team. We would play again if any playoff games were scheduled to be home, but won’t have that information until after the end of their season.

We will also be recognizing our Marching Band Seniors on track before the game at 6:45 PM. Seniors will get an information sheet from Mr. Bayerle in band classes. Senior color guard members please come to the band room today to get an info sheet. All senior information sheets are DUE to me by THURSDAY 10/31 so I can organize them for announcement.

Seniors, please do NOT forget or we won’t be able to announce any information other than your name.

Please see the schedule for Friday and plan accordingly:

Fri. 11/1 Senior Night!

6:00 PM is call time for ALL band students (marching and concert only) at the band room. Wear WARM HC colored clothes. It is projected to be COLD so bundle up! We will warm up out in front of the band room at 6 PM.

6:45 PM Recognize Senior Marching Band Members on the track with their families. All families coming for the ceremony should meet us in front of the band room outside by 6:30 PM at the latest.

6:55 PM Band Senior Recognition ends…dance and cheer teams recognized

7:20 PM Band performs National Anthem in stands

7:30 PM Game begins

8:30 PM Halftime senior ceremony for football players

Students will get a break to buy concessions, etc.

apx 9:45-10:00 PM Game ends…we will have students text/call for rides in the 4th quarter.

Clean up and dismiss from band room upon completion of the game.

Remember, performance in Pep Band is a performance grade for ALL band students. Unexcused absences are not permitted for students to remain in good standing in the HC band program. Any excused absence (emergency) requires a makeup assignment to replace the time, work, and grade.

Thanks to all for a great fall! We are preparing for several exciting performance opportunities and hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Bill Kite
