Dear HC Band students and families,
This Wednesday, 8/28 at 6:00 pm we will complete the stadium seatback installation at Kroger Field (one of our biggest fundraisers for the band).
Since our installation Saturday night, a few hundred additional seats have been sold, so we will install those, as well as perform some quality control to ensure proper seat placements.
This should only require 30-50 students, and any adult volunteers that we can get. Again, the more people we have, the sooner we can wrap up. Students who were not able to work on Saturday should sign up, and the directors may also ask for some volunteers. EVERYONE is welcome, though.
We understand that the Wildcat Marching Band may be on the field rehearsing while we are there!
Please remember the following:
– Wear proper footwear: no sandals or open-toed shoes
– Bring tools: 9/16” socket (hand or cordless drill-mount) or wrench, labeled so you don’t lose them. Power tools definitely make the work a bit easier and quicker.
– Eat a meal or snack before your shift. We will have some water and a few snacks there, as well.
–Park in the Green Lot (between the stadium and BCTC) and meet at Gate 1 (clink link or see attachment for diagrams)
