Dear HC Band students and families,
SATURDAY, August 24 at 6:00 PM is the stadium seatback installation at Kroger Field, one of our biggest fundraisers for the band!
Reminder: All HC Band students (marchers and concert-only) are expected to participate. The only exception to this is for the students who will work Bingo that Saturday night.
** Please remember the following:
– Wear proper footwear: no sandals or open-toed shoes
– Bring tools if you have them: 9/16” socket (hand or cordless drill-mount) or wrench, labeled so you don’t lose them
– Eat a meal before you arrive!! Water and snacks will be provided after things get going.
–Park in the Green Lot and meet at Gate 1 (click link below or attachment for diagram)

***Saturday, August 24
Please arrive by 6 pm. We will be onsite well before that, so feel free to come around 5:30 if you’d like. We will have volunteers marking benches ahead of the installation. Those people will be given permission to leave earlier as installation nears completion. We have the stadium until 11 pm, but usually finish up in less than 4 hours. 10 pm is probably a safe time to have a ride waiting. We will give a “heads-up” when students can contact parents who are on “standby”.
MORE INFO TO FOLLOW ABOUT WEDNESDAY NIGHT, AUG 28. We may need 30-50 students (and parent help) to finish things up. The UK Band will be on the field that night, rehearsing for their 1st game the next weekend.
