KMEA Quarterfinals Information Round Up

KMEA:  Here is Mr. Kite’s itinerary, as usual.  Please make sure you review.  There is just one show for quarter finals.  Mr. Kite will post results as soon as possible after quarterfinals are over.  We are a 5A school in the east division.  There are only 8 5A schools in the east division, and KMEA advances 8 schools from each region and division to semifinals (and hopefully finals!) next Saturday. You can see this full quarterfinals schedule here:

Spirit Wear is in the band room by the directors’ office.  Please make sure to pick it up.

Tonight is Senior Night!  Call time is 6:30 in the band room.  Make sure dress warmly in Henry Clay colors.  Seniors and their parents will line up in alphabetical order to be recognized before the football game (about 6:50).  Bring a camera if you can!

Uniforms:  A lot of kids are still not wearing tall black socks during competition.  They must be crew length and all black.  They can be longer than crew length, but not shorter.

Chaperones:  We’ll have our usual meeting tomorrow outside of the band room at noon.  We won’t need camp chairs because we’ll just go there, perform, and come back.

Lost and Found:  There is a lost and found box under the band box in the band room.  Please put any extra items your child might have accidentally brought home from Canton in that box.  We have at least 2 kids who are missing their fleeces and one kid whose shoes were taken home by another kid.  Please, please check your homes to make sure you don’t have extra items!

Bingo:  Looks like we still need some bingo help for this Saturday.  Please email if you can help out.

Weather:  KMEA quarterfinals at Tates Creek looks to be chilly but hopefully dry.  Consider sending your kid with handwarmers.

BOA Pictures:  The proofs are available now!  You can view and purchase at this site.  Use the category box to choose Henry Clay.

Hospitality:  There are no meals this weekend, but keep an eye out for a sign-up genius for next week’s competition.

I think that’s all, but let me know what I’ve forgotten.
