Reminder Round-Up!

Good afternoon, Band Family.  Here are a few reminders, all in one place.

First, remember that today is our “long day” this week. Rehearsal ends at 7:15.

Second, if you took some ponchos home to dry, Mary Kitts will collect those from you today.  If the rain persists, she’ll be inside by the band room.  Please make sure the ponchos are folded individually for easy storage in the uniform bags.

Third, spirit wear from the second order that hasn’t been picked up yet is in the band room on a table and in a laundry basket by the directors’ office.  Please pick it up or ask your marcher to do so.  I am sick and won’t be there to hand it out today.

Fourth, there still seems to be confusion about fleece embroideryIf you chose to fill out the question when purchasing spirit wear online regarding the name and instrument you want to have embroidered on the fleece, this does not mean that you’ve paid the $10 embroidery fee.  The purpose of that question was to collect legible instructions on fleece embroidery.  Please see the $0.00 charge on your spirit wear receipt if you need reassurance that you didn’t pay the fee.

The fee should go to Mary Kitts, who will actually be doing the embroidery.  Mary will be collecting fees and fleeces every day after rehearsal this week.  If it is raining, she’ll be inside near the band room.  If not, she’ll be on the lawn under the trees (where I usually am).

If you did not fill out the online question on a spirit wear order, it’s not too late to get your fleece embroidered.  Mary has a little paper form you can fill out (print neatly!).  You can complete the form when you pay the $10 fee.  She accepts cash and check.  Checks should be made out to K3 Kreations. Please see the previous paragraph about Mary’s availability.

Fifth, we have a missing Adidas pullover in dark gray.  If you or your marcher came home from Ryle with an extra, please inform Rebecca Scott.

Sixth, a pair of large, light-weight, egg-shaped earrings were found in the gym at Ryle.  Contact Rebecca Scott to claim them.
