Meal signups for Lafayette

HC Band Family,  The first competition of the year – Lafayette – is almost here.  For dinner that day, we are planning to grill hamburgers & hot dogs.  We will need sides, condiments, drinks, desserts, snacks, etc.  I am also asking for monetary donations to cover the cost of the meat.  As a reminder, all items to provide meals and snacks for the marchers, pit crew, chaperones and other leaders are provided through your donations.

For each competition, we go through lots of ice.  In the past, there was a band dad that had a source at his work that allowed him to fill several coolers full of ice for us to use.  I’m curious if any of the current band parents have similar access.  If so, please let me know asap.

I can also use help loading the carts Saturday morning and then setting up and serving the meal at the competition.  I will start loading the carts at 7:45am Saturday morning and could use a couple of people to assist.  At the competition, I will need 4-5 people to help setup and serve.  If you are able to help, please let me know.

When you go to SignUpGenius, you will see the list of items needed.  I have listed under each item how many we need and you will need to signup for the number of slots to match the quantity you will want to donate.  For example, we need 18-12pks of soda for Lafayette.  There are 18 slots available for you to select from.  If you want to donate 2-12pks, please signup for 2 slots.  If you have any questions about this, please let me know.

I will plan to be at the school Thursday & Friday evening towards the end of practice to collect donated items.  All items need to be dropped off by Fridayevening.  All monetary donations can either be given to me or can be placed in the band drop box in the band room to my attention.
