Dear HC Band students and families, This Saturday is the stadium seatback installation at Kroger Field, which is one of our biggest fundraisers for the band.
Please remember the following:
– Wear proper footwear: no sandals or open-toed shoes
– If this weather sticks around, it might get chilly late in the evening, so sweatshirts / jackets might be a good idea (jackets also to keep off any showers that might hit)
– Bring tools: 9/16” socket (hand or cordless drill-mount) or wrench, labeled so you don’t lose them. Power tools definitely make the work a bit easier and quicker.
– Eat a meal before your shift; water and snacks will be provided
–Park in the Green Lot (between the stadium and BCTC) and meet at Gate 1 (click here for diagrams)

Shift A: 6-9 pm
Shift B: 7-10 pm
Shift C: 8-11 pm
We will be posting another signup sheet in the band room Friday during the marchers’ picture sessions. This will be for a potential shiftnext Wednesday night, 8/29. There is a chance that we will finish up all installations on Saturday, and may not need to return on Wednesday. For now, though, we will need to plan on having a shift of about 50 that could finish up (and perhaps add any last-minute seat requests). Anyone who misses Saturday will be required to assist on Wednesday. We will release an update as soon as we know what we’re looking at for Wednesday.
