Dear Marching Band Family, Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday! Thanks to those who have been volunteering their time this summer at bingo and to those who are already doing things to get us ready for the upcoming marching season.
You’ve already seen sign-ups for upcoming events. So many spots have already been filled! We still have 8 open spots for first-aid (and one of those is this Monday afternoon) and 6 spots for meals for the band staff during band camp. Details of what’s involved are included on the links:

Starting at 5:00 pm, we will have parents in the front lobby at school to answer whatever questions you may have. These parents will be representing different committees but can help with general questions too. We know there is a lot of information coming at you and it can get overwhelming.
From one parent to another, next week your child will need a water jug (a water bottle isn’t enough), sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and deodorant. Don’t let them tell you they don’t need these things. They spend a lot of time in the sun. Even if they don’t wear it all, they’ll have options.
We hope you’ll get involved. The kids will do their part on the field but there’s so much more to it. It takes an army of parents to make the marching season and entire band program a success. Tell us what you like to do or what your skill set is and we’ll find a place for you. (Our most urgent needs right now: Bingo Caller (2), Ways and Means Chair, Equipment Chair.)
