Dear Band Families, On Friday, May 12th at 6pm (doors open at 5) in the gym, we will have our “Pops Concert”. ALL bands will perform! For those who are new to Henry Clay, the Pops concert is full of Entertainment, Fun, Food, Silent Auction, Desserts for sale, and a time to socialize with other parents and students. (Tables will be sold at the end of Monday night’s parent meeting) on a first come, first served basis. (Click link below for Flyer) The tables seat 8 people. That night, you can decorate your table (prizes for top 3) and bring your dinner. There will be free seating in the bleachers. Similar to last year, we will have food trucks in the parking lot that will give us a percentage of their sales back to the band. Food trucks from Red State Barbecue, Salsaritas, and Sav’s Chill will be back.
We are asking for donations for the Silent Auction. If you own a business, or would like to donate anything, it would be greatly appreciated. Tax donations forms are available upon request. Below is the list of themes for the types of items each section (students) should bring to donate. Please turn in ALL donations to the band room by Friday, May 5th.
Flutes — Movie Night, Clarinets- Car Care. Saxophones — Family Night,
Trumpets- College Dorm, 1st Hour Percussion — Restaurants
2nd Hour Percussion — UK, Trombone, French Horn, Bassoon,
Oboe — Summer Fun/Pool Party, Low Brass — Coffee/Doughnuts
