Dear Band Family,
I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing Labor Day weekend!
Just wanted to touch base on the schedule for the week:
Tues. (today) Sept. 6
MB Rehearsal 3:45-6:15 PM
Wed. Sept. 7
MB Rehearsal 3:45-5:30 PM *Note end time due to Open House
HC Open House begins at 6:00 PM. All parents will follow student schedules. We will be in the band room all night so please come by to say “hello.”
Thurs. Sept. 8
MB Rehearsal 3:45-7:15 PM
ALL Cheese, Sausage, Cookie Dough, Candle fundraiser orders are DUE. Please be sure student names and orders are clearly labeled. Thanks for your help with fundraising so we can offer the students the best possible band experience!
Sat. Sept. 10
MB Camp Day 1-9 PM…see schedule for the day below:
1:00 PM Rehearse in the parking lot
6:00 PM Dinner Break for students on their own.
7:00 PM Change into FULL uniform with hats, plumes, etc.
7:45 PM Head down to football field in stadium
8:00 PM Warm up (similar to a contest warm up)
8:30 PM Perform 2 shows for parents in full uniform with pit crew moving equipment.
The idea is to simulate a contest day experience for the kids this Saturday and also do an additional Parent Preview that night! Feel free to come out to support the band at 8:30 PM in the stadium!
