Dear Band Families,
On Friday May 20th at 6:00pm (doors open at 5:00) in the gym, we will have the “Pops Concert.” All bands will perform! For those who are new at Henry Clay, the Pops Concert is full of Entertainment, Fun, Food, Silent Auction, Coffee, Desserts for Sale, and a time to Socialize with other parents and students. Tables will be sold at the end of Monday night’s parent meeting on a first come, first served basis. (See flyer.) The tables seat 8 people. That night you can decorate your table (prizes for the top 3) and bring your dinner. There will be free seating in the bleachers. This year we will have a food truck in the parking lot and restaurants that will give us a percentage back to the band. Those restaurants will be announced days before the event so you can plan ahead.
We are asking for donations for the Silent Auction. If you own a business or would like to donate anything, it would be greatly appreciated. Tax donation forms are available upon request. Here’s a list of themes for the types of items each section (students) should bring to donate. Please turn in all donations to the band room by Friday May 13th or bring them to Monday night’s meeting.
