Dear Band Family, The Concert Wear is ready for pickup! The students will need these pieces for their concert on December 10th (the Jazz percussion concert on November 23rd is all black dress). Please have your student pick up their items as soon as possible before Thanksgiving break. This will give you time to do any length alterations if needed. Please also make sure the pieces fit correctly, and let me know as soon as possible if we need to make any changes. I had the students try on everything when we measured so the sizes should be correct, but I can make mistakes 🙂
If anyone would like to make a little extra money altering hems, let me know and I will pass it along to the band family. It is your responsibility to alter length on Concert Wear (per the Band Handbook), and students keep it home for the length of their time as students at Henry Clay (trading out pieces if they outgrow them). We do not have room to store student’s concert wear in the band room.
All new students in Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band will have pieces to pick up. Most (but not all) of the new percussion students will have pieces to pick up. If you’re not sure, please ask me. We had several students who needed new sizes, and those are ready as well.
