Dear Disney Trip Participants: If you are receiving this message, I have your child on our final Disney Trip list. We have an exciting trip planned for Feb. 10-15 that will be a GREAT experience! Currently, 3 payments of $115.00 each totaling $345.00 are due to stay current with the payment schedule. $115 payments are also due in October, November, December (before the winter break), and January.
Please understand that this amazing band trip and opportunity comes at tremendous cost to our program. Under the current payment schedule, the HC band boosters will spend over $17,000.00 in additional cost beyond what each student pays. We really need each and every family to stay current with the monthly payment schedule in addition to being in “good standing” with the band program concerning class expenses. Also, please understand that there will be 7 Disney trip rehearsals from late December through early February (see dates below) to ensure the band is performing quality literature at a high level for our performance in downtown Disney. These rehearsals are mandatory for trip participation as the school board only approves trips based upon educational experiences such as the performance and the clinic with a Disney professional musician.
If we have inclement weather around these dates we will need to reschedule these as time allows so please be checking your email and social media regularly.
With the failure of midnight Bingo, we need this group to search high and low for fundraising and/or sponsorship opportunities. Please let me know how you can help so we are able to take trips like this again in the future!
I will send final room assignments in the near future so please let me know if anything has changed.
