Dear HC Band Family,
THANKS to everyone for all of your work at the Stadium this past weekend! We had a very successful installation again this year due to the outstanding commitment and work ethic of our families! We will finish up the installation part of that project this week. If you can help at 6:00 PM this Wednesday 9/2 or Friday 9/4, we would be grateful for your service!
I wanted to give everyone a “heads up” on the schedule this week as band events start approaching more rapidly and the semester is in full swing! No pun intended for our jazz folk 🙂

PACK the Parking Lot! Come check out our show performance around 7:05 PM! It is a fun production this year and the students are improving with each rehearsal!
Home Football Game (Homecoming)- Marching Band Winds and Battery only are needed for this game. We will perform in arcs at halftime to accompany the homecoming court and announcements. Dress will be HC band shirt, black shorts, black socks, and black marching shoes (we will pass out new orders this week). Call time is 6:30 PM for marching band winds and battery on Friday.
Everyone else feel free to join the color guard and pit at the Stadium to finish seatback installation 🙂
**Also, we need the FINAL Disney trip participant list by this Friday, Sept. 4th. All deposits and 2nd payments are due or parents should have met with Mr. Bayerle and me.
Thanks to all who attended the band parent meeting last week! I realize it was tedious and some uncomfortable discussion arose for some, but it is important for our organization to grow together, continue communication, and work together! The first meeting of the school year is always the longest with a large amount of new business. We are committed to trying to hold meetings to an hour at most in the future. Thanks again, we appreciate your involvement in your child’s band experience and hope to see you again soon!
