Dear Band Family, See link below for the Graduation itinerary for THIS Friday May 25, 2012. Please review all details carefully. We will also have a graduation rehearsal this Wednesday from 4-6 PM. This will be our only rehearsal on Fanfare and Processional and Fanfare and Recessional. Seniors will be released early from rehearsal after we have rehearsed Shenandoah.

Dear Wind Ensemble, We were asked to perform for a presentation by some Naval officers tomorrow during 2nd and 3rd hours. Mr. Nochta approved our performance. I realize there are a few that need to finish major class projects, etc. and have already spoken with those students.
For those performing, please wear ALL BLACK professional attire for our performances tomorrow during school. We will perform Eternal Father Strong to Save (Navy Hymn) and Glory of the Yankee Navy March by John Philip Sousa at the beginning of 2nd and 3rd hour in the cafeteria over by the connector closest to the football field. If students are able to get out of the end of 1st hour to help set up that would be great, but only do so if the teacher is OK with it.
Thanks to all students for being willing to perform for these special presentations on such short notice. It is a true testament to your commitment and dedication and professionalism.

Dear band families, As you know, bingo is a year-round fundraiser. Tomorrow, the sheet for summer sign-ups will be posted in the band room. This session covers June 2- Aug. 25. We are asking everyone to cover two shifts: the student can work twice or the student and a parent can work together on one night. In addition to the parents who regularly work as supervisors and assistants, we would like to have 3-4 extra parents each week working with the students. It really helps to have a few adults, so parents, if you are willing and able, we would love to have you.
Also, we need some more people for Sat., May 26. We’ve had several who have left the band program and will not be volunteering. If you are available that night, please let me know.
